Dec 30, 2014 · I am not a Pro. I have presently a five year old 7D with the EF-S 17-85 kit lens, EF-S 10-22, and the Sigma 70-200 F2.8 non stabilized non macro lenses and the Yongnuo YN568EX flash. I love the 7D except I was never satisfied with the image quality, especially the low ISO banding and the high ISO noise. This CF card will definitely work with the Nikon D810. I use it in the D4s, which is the pro version full frame sensor camera. I find it to be a fast reliable card, which I also, by the way, use in the Canon 7D Mk II APS-c camera.

Check the CF socket for bent pins, the only bad thing about CF cards, they can be much faster than SD but these days all are fast. For ML though the CF likely has a faster write speed than SD.
